Internet Services Blocked Till 5 PM In Meerut
The Uttar Pradesh government transferred 18 IPS officers on Thursday. A state Home Department spokesman said Deputy Inspector General (Intelligence), Meerut,The administration has now blocked internet services till 5 pm today. An uneasy calm prevailed in western UP districts including Meerut and Agra on Monday when certain protests held against the lynching of Tabrez Ansari in Jharkhand went out of control and took a violent turn.

Newly appointed Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the first budget of the new government on Friday, outlining the priorities of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his second term after a massive election victory. This will be the 89th Union budget, which is the financial statement of the government, detailing its revenue and expenditure in the past, as well as estimated spending and projections for the coming year.
