To make Ujjwala Yojana a success, the Narendra Modi government had asked the people of India to give up subsidy. Many people did and hence Ujjwala Yojana was an achievement of Modi government. This is why PM Modi was heard thanking the people of India as well. You may also be asked to give up railway subsidy. But the question arises that the people have been giving up so much for the nation when will the MPs give up allowances?

He was taken on one day police remand which expired on Tuesday, police said.

Roads have been damaged at Udalguri and at several places in Barpeta; bridges and culverts have been washed away at two places in Lakhimpur and at one place in Barpeta; while embankments have been breached at several places in Barpeta.
