Uttarakhand: Woman Dies As Car Gets Swept Away In Overflowing Water
The incident is of Uttarakhand's Ramnagar where a car got swept away in overflowing water body. There was a family of three in the car. When the car got stuck over a rock in the water, man and child were saved but the woman lost her life. On the other hand around 22 went missing as heavy rains lashed Uttarakhand on Sunday, razing houses to ground and uprooting trees in the state.

Rains Lash Northern States, 23 Dead In Himachal Pradesh
Heavy rains lashed northern parts, leaving at least 28 people dead and 22 missing in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Punjab on Sunday, while a flood alert was sounded in parts of Delhi, Haryana, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh as Yamuna and other rivers were in spate. Haryana has asked the Army to remain on standby after 8.14 lakh cusec water was released from the Hathini Kund barrage in the Yamuna river. At least 22 people, including two Nepalese, were killed and nine others injured in rain-related incidents in Himachal Pradesh, while three people died and 22 went missing following a cloudburst in Uttarakhand. Three people lost their lives in Punjab.

Several patients who visited the AIIMS on Saturday had to scramble for treatment after a major fire disrupted services at the premiere hospital here. The fire broke out at the teaching block of the hospital forcing evacuation and affecting the emergency department, though no one was injured in the incident. As the building was being emptied, Bimla Devi (40), of Bihar, who was brought to the AIIMS in the afternoon had to wait for hours to get admitted in the hospital. She had breathing problems and complained of uneasiness.
