Police personnel had travelled to 450 km on foot to join back office after lockdown from Rajgarh to Etawah since he did not feel good that all his fellow workers were working hard and he was sitting at home. Due to lack of public transport he had to travel on foot.

The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in India saw their highest single-day surge on Monday as the tally went past 1,250 with 227 new cases being reported.The ministry had mentioned the current phase of the pandemic as "local transmission and limited community transmission".Kerala has the highest number of cases. Meanwhile, the Health Ministry on Monday said it took 12 days for cases of infection to rise from 100 to 1,000 in the country and the rate of increase has been slower than some of the developed nations.
