Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday took on Congress during his rally in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghazipur. Lashing out on Congress, PM Modi said Congress has deceived the farmers in Karnataka. He said that the party made tall promises to the farmers but didn’t fulfill even one percent of it.“Congress promised lakhs of farmers of waving off their loans, but benefited only 800 farmers.”He further said that “Congress deceived the farmers and took away all the votes.” He said that Congress’ loan waver is a “lollypop” and “deceit”.
