As the Lok Sabha awaited the introduction of the Triple Talaq Bill on Thursday, another man used the controversial practice to divorce his wife of 19 years after she objected to his extramarital affairs. The accused had married Arjumand Jafri, a resident of Bahedi in Bareilly, in 1999 after the death of his first wife. He had eight children from his first marriage.
