Chandrayaan 2: PM Modi cheers ISRO chairman, says country is proud of you


During the early hours of Saturday, in the last stage snag, communications between India's moon lander Vikram and the orbiter got snapped as the former was only 2.1 km away from its designated landing spot on the moon's South Pole early.Prime Minister Narendra Modi will today address the nation from the ISRO control centre in Bengaluru at 8am as speculation mounts over the fate of India’s Rs 978 crore ambitious moon mission.
