PM Modi meets ISRO scientists after moon mission setback

During the early hours of Saturday, in the last stage snag, communications between India's moon lander Vikram and the orbiter got snapped as the former was only 2.1 km away from its designated landing spot on the moon's South Pole early. Prime Minister Narendra Modi today addressed the nation from the ISRO control centre in Bengaluru as speculation mounts over the fate of India’s Rs 978 crore ambitious moon mission. Modi said "friends I could feel what you were going through few hours back, your eyes were conveying a lot. You live for India's honour, I salute you."
