Delhi-NCR's air quality turns hazardous, smog chokes the capital
The air quality in the national capital region again dropped to "very poor" quality after a brief respite last week.According to the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research (SAFAR), primary pollutant PM 10 and PM 2.5 are at 352 and 359 at the Chandni Chowk monitoring centre.Air pollution in Delhi has exceeded 1,000 micrograms per cubic metre of air—100 times the limit the WHO suggests for long-run exposure.
