Today is the auspicious day of kartik purnima. Also known as Damodar,day has a special importance for bath in holy Ganga river. Sharad Purnima starts with holy bath in Ganga river.It is believed that all auspicious work starts with this day. Dev Dipawali is celebrated on this day. It is extra special for Ayodhya after the Supreme court verdict.
