Odd-Even Scheme: Delhi govt to run 2,000 extra buses

The Delhi Cabinet decided to hire 2,000 extra buses to ensure enough public transport from November 4 to 15 during the Odd-Even scheme days. According to SAFAR, such rapid build-up doesn't last long. The situation is likely to recover with sunlight coming and boundary layer going up. These are expected by late Sunday evening under the current situation. According to some experts, the present level of pollution is equivalent to smoking 33 cigarettes a day. The US Embassy recorded PM-2.5 level at 802 at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
