Appoint Claims Commissioner: Delhi police to HC over anti-CAA protests
Following Uttar Pradesh police's footsteps, Delhi police have written to the High Court seeking the appointment of a Claims Commissioner who would try and give an estimate of the public property destruction that happened during anti-CAA protests. This officer would then give a report to the Delhi police. It may be possible that the reimbursement would be made via hooligans who were involved in destructions.
