India misses retired Lieutenant General PN Hoon | Ghanti Bajao
Lieutenant General PN Hoon, who led Operation Meghdoot, passed away on Monday in Chandigarh at the age of 91. He was born in Pakistan's Abbottabad but came to India after the partition in 1947. He was also known as the Siachen Hero. He was the Western Army Commander as well and retired from the post in 1981.
