Maharashtra: Covid-19 claims 2000 lives, 116 dead in 24 hours
Maharashtra has suffered the worst under the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. As many as 2098 people have died so far. In just the last 24 hours, 116 people succumbed to the disease, which is an all-time high. At the same time, 2,682 new cases have been reported - taking the state's total tally over the 60,000-mark. Meanwhile, Mumbai alone had 1447 news cases in the last 24 hours.
