Bihar: Gopalganj may again face floods with Gandak river in spate
The Gandak river is in spate. In such a situation, the flood threat has become a cause of worry in many districts including West Champaran and Gopalganj.After the increase in water level, a large population of Bagaha, Bettiah and Gopalganj will be affected. Due to floods in the state in June, July and August this year, more than 75 lakh population of 16 districts were affected. At the same time, the death toll had reached 24.
