Farmers protest enters 28th day, Tomar to address media today

Farmers protest has entered 28th day today. Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Narendra Singh Tomar will address the media at noon on Wednesday.  Tomar said on Tuesday that a section of farmers have urged the government not to amend the new farm laws enacted by the Centre.Around 40 farmer unions are protesting against these laws, demanding a new law for mandatory MSP. The protesters have blocked several entry points of the national capital.
