From LAC to LOC; IAF to be more powerful; 56 C295 aircraft to be included in fleet

The Cabinet Committee on Security on Wednesday approved the purchase of 56 C-295 aircraft to replace the old Avro fleet of the Indian Air Force. According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Defense, 16 aircraft will be procured from Airbus Defense and Space which will be in flight condition. Apart from this, 40 aircraft will be built by the company in India as part of a consortium with Tata. #IAF #LAC #LoC #ABPNews
