As per the orders of the Yogi Adityanath government, the bereaved families of farmers were given compensation worth Rs 45 lakhs each. On the other hand, the matter of Lakhimpur Kheri has reached Supreme Court now. Two of the advocates have written to Chief Justice of India seeking CBI probe in the case under apex court's supervision.
