Today is the second hearing in Supreme Court over Mumbai government formation case. In today's hearing Supreme Court may decide a new date for the floor test. Before this hearing Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis also met Deputy CM Ajit Pawar last night. According to sources BJP still claims that Ajit Pawar has support of 27 NCP MLAs. 12 to 14 Ministerial post can be given to Ajit Pawar supporters.

Three out of five missing NCP MLAs returning to Mumbai

Three out of five missing MLAs of NCP are returning to MUmbai from Delhi. Anil Patil, Nitin Pawar and Daulat Daroda will return Mumbai. Now Ajit Pawar is left with only two MLAs by his side. Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress have approached Supreme Court in the same matter and are of the opinion that BJP and Ajit Pawar will not be able to form the government even after taking the oath as CM and Deputy CM of the state.

The biggest question still looming is which party or group will form government in Maharashtra? The Sena, the Congress and the NCP kept vigil over their MLAs as the BJP deputed senior leaders, including former Chief Minister Narayan Rane who had earlier been in both the Sena and the Congress to ensure Fadnavis secures a majority in the 288-member Maharashtra Assembly.
